Hi there!

I'm a proud N-GAGE owner, but a friend of mine wants to buy a 3300... (it costs only 99 € in Portuguese VODAFONE)...

he wants to use it as a Pen drive, so I'm asking if when u connect your 3300 to the PC via USB, does WINDOWS XP recognize the MMC as a removable drive, just like what happens with N-GAGE??

Thankx a LOT!

Yes, it is recognised as a removable drive. 64Mb Nokia branded MMC is usually included with the phone.

thankx a lot!

and... one more question...er...

N-GAGE can store virtually an infinite number of SMS, 'cause it has shared internal memory, but I think that this is only possible with symbian phones.

how many messages can 3300 store?

thankx in advance!

The Nokia 3300 also has internal shared memory. It has 4.5 Mb so it should be able to store hundreds of SMS messages.

Yes I do own a 3300
I said "hundreds" when in fact it is 150 - big deal! I usually start deleting when my inbox gets above 50. I presumed that the SMS folders would hold as many messages as the memory capacity would allow. I was wrong - I'll get over it ;-)
