6230 firmware 3.16+

Hi,

I have been told that the current version is 3.15. Having just had a new 6230 replaced with another unit wit exactly the same faults, roll on v3.16. If anyone hears that 3.16 has been released can they please send me an email.

volume keys appearing as if by magic

I have 6.2 software. Doesn't work wellat all. One minute it sees the phone. the next it doesn't. Anybody got a newer version

well mine is v3.17

and I have had the phone approx 2 weeks now

what faults do you have with yours ?

You both have the same firmware, mines 3.14, the .01 increases are just for different operator codes or something like that. The new version which should hopefully fix the bugs will be substantially higher. No word yet on when its coming

Thanks both of you. We'll just have to keep a close eye on it. Clearly the phone is buggy but it is still a good unit. The bugs, so far, have been annoying rather than major :-?

my firmware is v3.14 and it's working fine, despite the few annoying but not major bugs. pc suite 5.8 works fine, 6.2 works just the same. slightly different interface.

if you are connecting to your PC via bluetooth, be sure that your phone and PC is already paired. make sure that you are connecting to the correct COM port. you will find out which is the correct one by fooling around with it. i know i did. (some say it's 0, some 5, some 10?) whatever works.

the most obvious bugs are the MMC password thing, deleting images that you already set as wallpaper error (save it in the root directory of your MMC), a few BT bugs, et al. currently, i am searching for a way to get goboy in my 6230. i know its possible. i just don't know how...yet...
