Want to make a 3350

Hi everyone,

I want to build from my 3330 a 3350.. The only problem is that don't know what I need. I understand that I need new Lights and a new keypad.. But what else do I need and where can I buy it.. Please help me

U can make ur 3330 to 3350 only if it has many contacts for keypad like that of a 3350.

If it has, u need to have a 3350 fls and flash it to your phone probably v.5.15 or later.

use Rolis select phone model as 3350
flash phone with the 3350 fls file

Use Knok tool 1.8 to change the IMEI if it is not illegal in your place. Just use the IMEI of your 3330 phone it is original i think.

U need to change ur lcd of that of a 3350 because 3330 lcd is different from that of a 3350. U cant read ur phone if u will not change it, it wil;l not display properly..

That's the part i already know and have, but the problem is that need to have new lights.. and I need the pad with the moniter ande the speeker of a 3350.. The 3330 and the 3350 are of the same size so I think it is possible to make one..
So I think that I need new lights and the whole pad.. But the problem is that don't know where I can buy it and what the costs are..
So can someone please tell me where I can buy it..

Yes, it has 32mb flashmemory. Me, i bought it here in our place for about 30 dollars, the lcd with frame.

Can't I just modify the keypad of my own 3330? Making an extra hole? Can't that be done or do a need the lcd of a 3350? I don't think it wil make any diffence.

Well no becasue unless your PCB (thats the green thing under the screen) has the extra contact points for the buttons it will not work and then the white membrane must have contact points that match up with the PCB.

Also the screen is at different resloution.

think making a program that fills the screen at 1024x768 then somebody trying to use the program on a 640x480 screen most the for program cannot be seen.

First for your 3310, flash a rom from 3330, then if it work (because 3310 have 2mb and 3330 4 mb only fews of 3310 have 4 mb),
you must change keypad and LCD from 3350, and facias from 3410, then flash 3350 *.fls

make a bakup of your 3310, then flash a full 3330 file, if it work, then you've got it:)

in rolisv4.78 i need to set the phone model to 3330 or 3310.before i flash the 3330 file to it.

I forget something for the 3350, you must have the PCB revision (can't remember number) with more pads on it.
With rolis full backup your 3310
Then change to 3330 mode and then flash it to 3330 4.50
If not work, you haven't the good memory...
K6F 10XXXX for 3310/15
K6F 20XXXX for 3330/50
K6F 40XXXX for 3410
you could change it but I think it's better to buy new phone

You must have K6F4016U4F for 3410

Then find someone change this piece on your Nokia
To expensive if you add the LCD and keypad from 3350 or 3410, so... buy a new phone:)

Ok, but i just don't get it then.. in the forms they say that it just cam be done with a diffrent lcd and keypad. So, how did they do that with the same memory? Pretty weird then because they did it with only a diffrent lcd.. ??????????????

do a search for '3350' or'blink' i guarentee that you will find a file for it cause i got mine from a search using them

I just don't get it, the thing with the memory. I got a 3410 lcd screen and i put it on my 3330. Got a fullflash of a 3350, flashd it into my phone.. And it works. I got a 3350.

@Svangsta what mimi74 is saying is that to convert a 3330 to a 3410 the memory chip must be change. For a 3330 to 3350 you only need to change the "screen part" of the phone then flash the file to the phone.

hi all, i want to convert a 3310 to 3330. my 3310 is a newest one, so i think that it has a 4mb flash. how can i do it? to verify the size of the flash i will use rolis4.78, and if it is 4mb, how can i change it to a 3330? thanx all:confused:

i read on a site that when reading the flash, there is a 16 or a 32 that is the size of the flash (in megabits). this is the output with rolis 4.78, but there aren't 16 or 32!! is it a 2mb or a 4mb flash??

look at this:
It seems that some of the newest 3310s are 3330 boards with 3310 software. To check the flash size of your 3310, backup the existing flash contents. When Rolis' Flasher starts reading from the phone, information from the flash is displayed on the screen. On the last line is the flash size in MegaBits - 16 is 2MB, while 32 is 4MB.
but i can't read any 32 or any 16 on my phone's info! ther is only a 160!! thanx to all.
