Hi All
I winder if anyone can help.
I have a Philips C12 on free best friend, I know that the card is locked to the phone!
I would like to put this in a nokia 3310 but it comes up with sim card rejected!
The nokia 3310 is unlocked, but have tried locking it to cellnet (Lock 1 MCC+MNC 234 10) but still the same.
I wonder if i need to enter lock 4 the MSIN number as well, if so does anyone know how i can find this number out?
Any help would be great as i am now at a total loss on what to do!
thanks for reading

maybe the sim card has been blocked already, you know the three pin codes afer that the PUKs, does his sim card worked in his phone when you put it back? try unlocking your phone again,

well friend, on nokias i don't know but there are some managers for siemens (like visual25) that tells you the number of the card(if i'm not wrong, the last ten(10) digits is to itroduce on the lock 4)!or... you check the number of the card on the cards pin paper!

Hi Alucard, Da_lord , Thanks for the reply, the sim card still works perfectly in the Philips C12 as this is the phone that the card is locked to, I know sim is locked to the phone as Cellnet (as it was) did tell me that on the phone, this is why the card will not work in a unlocked nokia 3310... in the nokia 3310 display says 'sim card registration failed' so i put 234 10 in the MCC+MNC (lock 1). still got the same message, then i tried GID1 (lock 2) code which for cellnet is 10FF , the phone then said sim card rejected so removed this lock2.
as far as i can find by searching the net it is usually lock 1 and 4 that is closed to lock the phone to a network and sim , but at the moment i cannot find the MSIM number anyware, like Da_Lord said all i know that it is a 10 digit code.
As far as i am aware it only seems to be this tarrif on cellnet that is locked to one particular phone (free best friend) which is a bit limiting when there are much better phones now.
Does anyone know of a program that can read the MSIN number from the Philips C12 phone? or one that can read MSIM from the sim when it is in a Nokia 3310?
Many thanks for the replys so far
still in need of help!

Hi Damian
thanks for the info, i now have a cable to fit the philips c12, the trouble is i cannot find any software that will read the phone!! it is a Savvy TDC128/BD , with the software that you posted (thanks for that) phone comes up with TAT MODE but then the software says "communication error" I know it is not the cable i have as it works with model TDC168/AO and the software reads it fine
any ideas for software for the 128/db?

Many thanks Damian,
I found the inaccessable software at http://www.techgsm.com/unlock_software_download_philips.html
homepage http://www.techgsm.com
"Philips C12 Service program Pro (working on TCD128,BD)"
so if anyone knows how to get to it i would be so greatfull!! :)
As for cloning the sim gorandj, this card is a 'pay as you go' one so it could well be destroyed by copying and there is no guarentee that this will work, and as it is on a old tarrif cellnet no longer support changing damaged cards... when it is gone it is gone!! so i would rather read the flash from the phone, then 'clone' the data into another Philips phone to see if it will work, then if it does i want to pull the flash appart and try and get a 3310 to work on it.... trial and sucess in small steps
Many thanks for replying

what i cant understand is why none of the phillps software so far reads the msid? even the early nokia unlockers like nokall read them..........all you software writers TAKE NOTE!!!!
