6600 question

i have searched but couldnt find answer,
i just bought a 6600 off eBay and i want to do a factory reset to get rid of the junk on there.
i have read this post....

do I reset with T-mobile sim card installed?
will the reset get rid of O2 application and orange stuff.
the phone is an orange phone that has been unlocked to any network.
I am on t-mobile PAYG.

Anything else i should know before reset?

u mean the format code?

u can keep ur sim in, it will only format everything on phone mem, so rem to back it up. no, the telco stuff will still remain, since they are part of the firmware. unless u flash ur phone to get a clean firmware, the telco stuff will remain.

rem to back up ur stuff on phone mem, and do not interrupt the format process, make sure batt is full.
