nokia 6230 connectivity problems

I don't know if u all can help . But i recently purchased a bluetooth usb device so i can send data to my phone. It installs fine but when i try to pair up with my pc and the phone , i don't have a pin code on the phone itself but it keeps prompting me for a password for the computer but im positive i didn't set it up . if it's sum other password then i don't know it , any idea's ?

Have a look in your network connection properties in Control Panel. I've never used bluetooth devices so I'm not sure if it shows up as a network connection or not.

failing that, try looking at the properties of the device in device manager. See if you can find any settings like 'prompt for password' or the like...

When i entered a code on my pc to start with i could enter any digits, then it would ask me to type them in on the phone!
