7650 probs

Hi,

My brother has just given me his old 7650 which has now been disconnected from Orange UK. When I turned it on it says "PIN code blocked. Enter PUK code" Being that my brother had a upgrade to a new phone (still on Orange) he doesn't want to ring Orange to see if he can get a PUK code from them because he doesn't want to put his new phones validity into question.

Is there a way to get it activated so that I can get it unlocked later to put my Vodafone sim card in (currently in its third phone!) or has the 7650 become a new and interesting target on my air rifle range??

Any help would be greatful

Yes this is in the wrong section and this question has been answered before.
Please search before posting.
You must ring the service provider to get the PUK code.
The phone will work with another SIM, The PUK code is on the SIM not the phone.
