PHP DCT4 Online Calc - Released Here!

Ive been looking at posts in this forum and others and I noticed a lot of people where after the PHP source code so they could run DCT4 calculators online via there own website rather than hotlinking to others.

Ive released the following which allows this, please note that the original source is by Indear. This version is encrypted as well as license key'd however its free to claim a license and use the scripts from your own server.

You can download the software and view your license key once youve entered your email address.

You can edit the interface via the before.php and after.php file. Add your license key to license.php and upload all files to your server. Run index.php and it will display before.php. Once submitted it will display results generated via index.php onto after.php

So why would I release an encryted version rather than the actual source I hear you asking?
Well as I did not create the original source I will not be releasing it. If Indear wanted it to be released im sure he would have posted himself. This version allows people who want to have a DCT4 calc on there own site the ability to, rather than linking to an external site which looks unprofessional.

your right we should all be greatful that indeer gave us the algo, but when it comes to porting that language into a working php generator you are free to do whatever you like with it.

I agree that putting a link to somebody elses online generator defeats the object of having a personal generator, where users can input the info and recieve the codes directly from ones own web page, thats why using the forms from http://www.mobilestuff4u.com/remoteunlock in a frameset will seamlessly fit into any web design and look very much proffessional to the untrained eye and will save all that malarky of registering and what-not.

A frameset hotlinking to another site is unprofrssional in my opinion, but yes to the untrained eye it maybe acceptable. Each to there own.

The only way one could know if the generator was coming from another address is if they viewed the source, and I dont see why people looking for unlock codes would bother doing that.

There is also the fact that a lot of people are using free or budget web space that doesnt allow the running of PHP files on their server, thus a frameset solution is really the only option.

There are cases for and against each method, I totally agree on that.

However it if it was between hot linking to another site or displaying it on my own site I personally would rather have it on my own site due to the image I try to portray, if I was on budget space then of course if there was no other option then hotlinking would probably be the only solution.

Thats my intention with releasing this, it wasnt done to stop people using your site. :)

Just another quick point, with my encrypted version the user has totally flexability with regards to the design of the calc.

You can match the design of your current site using the header and footer HTML as well as add extra PHP code to limit the use of the calc, for instant make it available to forum members only, or forum members with a certain post count.

I think both methods, either using a simple frameset or including your encryped php code, cover the needs of people wishing to have a calc on their site. I think we have covered the advantages and disadvantages of them aswell.

I wouldnt have imagined you to believe I was in any way trying to stop people using your obviously brilliant contribution, therefore cannot imagine how you were to believe that I was assuming you were doing the same to me :rolleyes:

indear released the source code, but it has lots of errors. I downloaded the one that you put up, but I have IIS 5 that I am running it on and the encription people dont have a file for it yet. it is possible to have you look through the one that I got from indear and maybe fix it and let me know.

I have been trying to create an online calc on my new site MobyTones
but cant get the forms to work... Is there an English translation for your php calc... If you see this Indear can you help or anybody help

I have a form version that is working for me! It is only dct4, because that is all that I really want. I wish INDEAR would make a forms versions like he makes the j2me for forms. I am pretty familiar with unlocking, but not as much as he is. I am still trying to get mine to unlock a 6620, but no luck so far.

I am guessing you were having trouble incorporating the ASIC 6 function to your calc where you say you have no luck unlocking 6620 (you mean 6230 right?)

I can unlock 6230, I figured that one out and fixed it right after I attached the file. I am still trying to unlock 6620's though. my friend has one and I cant get it unlocked. I have seen a few things and people reccomend asic 2 and v2 box? could this work?

This model is Asic 6 which is why it won't work if you use Asic 2 in your calculation. Get the Crux Calc v2.31

What puzzled me was I thought a handset unlockable with Box 32779 (Original) should also be unlockable with V2?
Also seems strange using ASIC2 for ASIC5 model, are you certain of this?
