3310 eeprom and Power on failure?

I had a 3310 whose problem was contact service yet when i try to diagnose it with eepromtool software it say it has on eeprom ic.My Question is, where do eeprom ic is integrated?In 3210 and 5110 it is clearly seperated ic... :-?
2nd sometimes i encounter phone who accept flash writing yet i didnt power on afterwards?I already increase the delay index.can you guess what particular ic is defective? :-?

mate,

eeprom in 3310 are just emulated eeprom, they are included in the software. try resetting to full factory reset or else just flash your 3310 with a good flash.

if you flashed the phone with a good flash but still will not power on, try reheating or replacing the flash ic..

btw, what's the history of the phone?

Its hard to tell the history of the phone since i believe its already gone through a lot of technician beside me. I have already tried to other phone the software i used to my defective one and it no problem encountered.Thanks anyway.How long have you repairing mobile phone?

It has been two years since i've started. And since then, a lot of repairs went by.. Looks like your problem lies in the flash ic. Flash your phone with a good fubu, afterwards read it back. Hope it reads right (no errors). If it does, your flash maybe good.

You mentioned it is contact service (but what exactly, eepromtools will say which part ie: cobba serial/parallel fail, mcu/ppm checksum fail). If EEPROM fail then try reflow/replace your flash ic even if it reads good.

Hey,Pal!thank a lot,i was just curious about the eeprom of 3310 that why i ask it just as 6210 unit,it bugs me alot trying to find the said device on the circuit diagram.anyway do you mind if i ask some repair problem sometimes.Lets brainstorm,i mean lets make opinion about device and circuit analysis.We can learn from experince.Two eggs are better than one...

Hi all, I know this is not the right thread, but none seems tob e the right one, and i'd rather not open a new one only for a silly(but basic) question.

-Where the hell do i find roms for nokias??? Tons, loads of them...on the net everything seems to be crap(payment needed, exe to accept). I jus twant to find as many flash files for 3xxx as possible.
Oh, one more question:
Whtever i do with my phone, until i have my backup original file no worrie, right? ;O)

I had a new question to you i hope you can help me.My 3210 is exhibiting charging without a charger,this is evident right after you remove your charger the lcd continuously displaying charging,can you which component is defective-the ccont has been already reflowed.

Usual cause is the CCONT, either reflow or replace. Since you reflowed it already try replacing it. Else try the CHAPS.

hey dude,

my friend approach me to fix his 3310 which exhibiting low battery after an 4 hour of charging,i already try a new battery no change at all?any idea which component drain heavy current?is it the PA since it directly connected to the battery?need ur technical experience? :???:

looks like you're in the right track. try changing the PA, coz it just drains all the juice out of your battery.
