What phones work on CINGULAR & AT&T

Hi,
One of my friends is going to the USA and wants to use Cingular there,
I think mobiles which have both 800mhz and 1900 mhz only work there,
could somebody give me a couple of models which operate on these frequencies please
oh i live in india so i will have to get him the phone from here...

Hello! i use cingular and i am very pleased with the service! Anyways there is a couple phones that operate on that frequency! they are: Sony ericsson t6u, nokia 6340i, blackberry 6280 and 7280, motorola V400 and 600. there are more i'm sure, but cingular definetly works on those frequency's! need anything more feel free to e mail me at [email protected]
