Changing faceplate on 6600

I saw several faceplates for Nokia 6600. But dont see a simple way to remove the front plate. Is it easy to remove and if so has anybody done that. I would appreciate steps to remove the front plate. Also are the ebay plate did properly on the N6600 ? My concern is if a tool is needed to remove the front plate it may void the warranty.

I want to know if it is ok and how? Thanks much

Just use a credit card to ease it apart, start at the the bottom and work your way around til it pops off.
Can't see why it would invalidate your warranty as long as it is only the faceplate and batery cover you're changing, just make sure to keep your original cover in case you need to change it back should your phone stuff up.

ps some of the covers are a bit dodgy arond the lens, they don't quite sit right

Some 3rd party covers fit better than the originals. The cover on my 3650 now is much tighter than the original cover. Makes putting it on and off a bit harder, but nothing worse than loose covers.
