I have one of the auto detecting F/MBUS cables from EBAY.I have a locked 5160i,5165,and a 5120.TDMA phones.I am using Eeprom Tools 3.1.And always get Phone Not Conected.I thought the cable might have been bad so i got a new one from a different person on EBAY.Same error.I have also tried 2 different PC's with good com ports.One runnin win 98 and the other runnin XP.I have also tried tons of different software out there,none will detect any of the phones listed above......Any one have any ideas ????

EEPROM TOOLS is for GSM phones, you need software for tdma phones.

you need to unlock tdma phones let me know type of phone i send you the program you can use wintesla:-D :-D

What do you want to do? Unlock? If is unlock, here's the software.

No idea if this applies to your phones, but when i was trying to unlock my 6310i with an autoswitching cable, it wouldnt work.

By putting a piece of paper over the 2 FBus contacts, I changed it into an MBus cable, and the software (JIC unlocker) worked a treat.

it doesn't work for gsm cellular phones, only TDMA
