there were some ngage games like ashen and splinter cell that played on my 6600 with a strange/discolored display.is there some file went missing while in the installation stage?

no dude, thats perfectly normal. but for ashen, the weird color wun be there after u load up the game. splintercell is not compatible.

i would say ashen isnt completely compatible too. (with 6600)

It's because the game was designed for the N-Gage which is only 4k colours; not the 6600.

stuck on the loading screen and then "app close sound thread"...help

Pretty much all of the new N-Gage games won't work on the 6600. It's nothing to do with the procedure in which you are installing the games; or your game/phone in general.

True some people r starting 2 have trouble with Spider-man 2 on their 6600. It just wasn't meant 2b i guess.
