nokia 3315 keypad backlight flashing in ring tone rhythm (maybe a solution)

I have looked thread started by henry. I think that solution is in software.

Message to henry: Connect that mobile (with working keypad flashing) with data cable and run pclocals. Then go to "Product profile" and write down all bit values. And post them here.

I think that backlight flashing can be activated by setting the correct bit combination in product profile settings.

For example: to activate nokia 3315 functions you must set product profile bit 30 from 0 to 1...

I have tried this and nothing happens...seems that it is a hardware thing...

humM..
I tried to connect both Positive of the buzzer and one of the LED in either keypad or screen. It blinks rhythmly, but the LED won't on when you press any button (only on when ringing)
Do you have any suggestion to make it exactly like 5210 using a 8210?

I don't know...try to search google for keypads that flash (i think even in various colors). I saw this for 3310 and I don't know how much it costs.

I know what you mean buddy, that flashing light just light up when call is made or receive.
What i wanna know now is to make it blink when the ringtone is on..(rhyrhmic)

This can onli be done with connecting a copper cable!
