invalid sim, orange nk 7610

i want to unlock my Nk 7610 from the orange uk network. i have tried crux v1.85, but when i enter the codes, nothin happens. when i insert my o2 uk sim, i get the msg: Invalid Sim

any ideas?

also tryin to unlock 7610 off Orange (UK) network. is there another box serial that would work?

the settings should be ASIC 5 and box serial id 32802
use code 7 then code 1

to 7610 with software version (RH-52) wich is the model 7610b
the settings should be ASIC 2 and box serial id 32802

to view software version type *#0000#

Ninjana,

Never use a multi-lock code (+5, +6, +7) on a Symbian phone, too many of them will reject it even if it is correct.

Always use code +1 first, then use code +2 if needed (not many Symbian phones have Sim lock set, only Orange 6600 to my knowledge).

Could you please stop relaying false information? This is the second thread I've seen you copy and paste these instructions to. I've tried this twice now and it hasn't worked!!

I know of atleast 2 other person (not including myself) that has a 7610b (RH-52) locked to Cingular and has not been able to unlock it yet. I'm waiting for someone with a fresh phone with 5 good tries left to test out 1 or 2 codes to see if it will work or not. I would test it out myself but I only have one last try left before the phone gets locked! How many attempts have you made already?
