I have this Nokia 3410 which I got from Tele2. It has a Tele2 simcard in it, and after I switched on the phone it displays "O2-NL".

When I insert another simcard (Vodafone) it displays: Registratie sim-kaart mislukt (in english: Simcard registration failed).

When I try to read what locks are on this phone, Rolis tells me that there are no locks :-?

It has V5.42 software.

What's the best way to unlock this phone?

I already downloaded the dct-3 calculator but I even do not know what the operator code is...

Thanx in advance....

Hi,

Tele2 is no gsm provider, it rents fascilities from the Telfort (=o2 =20412) network.

Possibly like the tools say it ain't locked.

U can check on that, if it is locked it must be mentioned on the box or in the manual somehow.
(law in Holland)

>> Simcard registration failed

I think if it's locked it should say > sim card not accepted.

If U have a flash cable, best would be to reflash Ur phone with a clean virgin eeprom.

That is the only way I could imagine for myself for fixing it.

Can you possible tell me where to find clean virgin eeprom or even full flash files?

I have many files (partial and full and even eeprom files) but no files for 3410 Nokia

Eh,

Be sure to make a good backup before U try.

3410 eeprom starts at 57.0000

Good Luck

Hello,

I made a full backup of the software in this phone. It still can't be unlocked.
I've tried a virgin eeprom, a full flash but still no good. When the virgin eeprom was properly flashed all locks were closed and couldn't be unlocked.
Here's the full flash:
