Well, it's finally official. THQ and Nokia today announced the N-Gage platform's first wrestling game, WWE Aftershock. The game will challenge you to get into the ring with ten WWE Superstars and compete for the WWE Championship.

Other features of the game will include a true real-time 3D environment, N-Gage Arena rankings and unlockable characters, and multiplayer action using Bluetooth wireless technology. Gameplay modes will range from exhibition, survival, tournaments and the WWE's patented "Main Event" matches.

WWE Aftershock is expected to hit store shelves in the fourth quarter of 2004.

Hmmm sounds sexy, time like this makes me wish for a time machine :)

WWE Aftershock Wrestling game on the ngage would be a new experience. Seeing that it would be the very first WWE game 2 come out. I just hope that it is awesome looking & the control keys aren't crazy 2 handle.

Oh yay THQ are making it! Look at how nice they made Red Faction! Its going to suck big time. THQ suck at making games on consoles & portables full stop.
If it was Activison bringing WWE Smackdown to N-Gage then we could expect good things. But no its going to be shit just like all the other THQ games released.

But I guess its another game on the N-Gage library to play.

smackdown pretty much sucked as a wrestling game... if they brought the AKI fighting engine from the n64, now that would be nice
