D:Virus 3310 Flash

The OWN NUMBER menu is for displaying your mobile phone number(s) if they are stored in the sim.

Some networks allready store your number in the sim, but some do not. If this is the case you can add and edit these numbers on a 8210 as this model has the function to do so. As the 3310 does not you cant.

So untill you add your number the shortkey * 3 will show nothing.

In 'Phone book' there is that 'Service Nos.' So if there are NO numbers shortcut will NOT show anything. Am I right?

The Service Nos menu is set by the network operator which is stored on the sim. This has nothing to do with the OWN NUMBER menu. If no number stored on sim, then shortkey * 3 WILL NOT WORK.

When I try 5-7-3-2-1 (Search) there is only one number
I can also add more numbers..

But I am not sure about another release just yet. We will have to wait and see. I am having a problem with people still selling this flash. To date I have had over 300 emails from people who have brought a SPY PHONE and emailed me with problems. May be its time I started to charge for the flash, which is not what it is all about but will stop people stealing. :cry:

when i press restart my cell only turn off (sometimes)even i still have 3 bars of batt level..

also when charging charging i cant saw batt full i need to reinsert tha charger to see whether my cell is full....
another one even when i reinsert the charger it says batt full after pulling out

What do you mean ? Have the battery ICON with the meter inside it.

And when battery is full there is fullsize battery picture..

and when there is half of power there is only half of battery-picture..

and when battery is empty the battery will not show.

Looks to me like the 3310 NiMh battery bug.

On that battery type U need a special patch in Ur eeprom area, otherwise it will go like 7-6-5-1.

I wrote about a solution for this in the true 7bars thread, and thought someone also made a script for this back then.

Can you tell how to translate your latest .fls now?

this works in version 18-04-05

1. open the latest Dvirus PPM file with the PPMMaker

2. double click "text" -- "0x00...01, ENGL and save text.

3. choose the language pack what contains your language and save it as the ENGL before.

4. Now, You have the ENGL.txt and the YOURLANG.txt. You have to compare by contant these files because must be every text on the same line but in different languages of course... (if dont match the lines then try to find YOURLANG.txt from different version of 3310flash. but what version it should be?

5. Copy these lines from the end of ENGL.txt

1333= ...
1334= ...
1335= ...
...

And paste it to the end of YOURLANG.txt and save it.

6. Open the Dvirus PPm again and double click to the YOURLANG in the text menu and click "load text" and choose YOURLANG.txt and save it.

7. And add AORD and LDB from YOURLANG Ppm

if not working:
YOURLANG Ppm version must be compare with DVirus Ppm

Hi!

I've flashed to phones with your latest BETA flash. Great work!

I've found some minor bugs though (apart from the log file's):
In Quick-Keys, the Invert Screen and the Show Time&Date are swapped.
The Show Time&Date only works with the keypad unlocked.
I can't navigate in the D:Virus menu-style with hotkeys, though I can in Grid.
Fade-in works, but fade-out doesn't.

I checked the Message counter reset security and it seems it does not lock so I will have a look at this.

There is a small bug with the DIGI/24 fonts. I forgot to change it, so some pixels are incorrect. :o

Spymode works fine. In the 03-06-05 update I have cleared the END OF CALL TONE that makes the backlights flash if rhythmic backlights is active when a caller ends a call. 8)

Also have fixed the FADE-OUT ;) bug but forgot to add this to the 03-06-05 update. So I will add for the next release.

What is ALS you mentioned in the LOG file? I've been flashing for quite a while, but I haven't seen that before (I've been using Rolis 4.78 and Knok Phoenix build 1)
Could you change the power-button animations, that if I press a button to skip, it shows the menu instead of the main screen?

I saw "Phone Line Change" in the menus before, but I have no idea what it is, so I didn't touch. I searched this forum and google, but found nothing - what is that? :o

ALS just changes the phone line. Is the same as the menu but its just a switch over (A QUICK KEY).

But the Games menu is now swapped to the # key ID so if you activate it it will start the games instead of ALS. You can still use ALS via the power button menu.

On the 3310 you have the option to change the phone line via the menu or # key.

Your main mobile phone number is on LINE 1. On LINE 2 is a alternative number (Work mobile number or something like that.) all on one sim card. ALS is a switch between the two lines. You can enable like I said before via a data cable but you can only use LINE 1. If you change the lines over then you cant make a call unless your service provider supports dual lines.

I hope this clears things up a bit.

when i select grid menu and turns the lights "OFF" - the phone book looses its SEARCH function - IT instead starts 'browsing' the phone book.

your program 8210 got a problem ,it show only 113 contact in my phone book my sim card 64k that can show 250 contact but your program cant detect that my sim card. if i try another program can detect 250 back. how to solve this problem

Hi,

Mr. Azman, this 113 value looks like a problem I know.

These 250 numbers are inside Ur phone's eeprom, not on the sim.

Possibly the eeprom has been prepared to contain more logos or tones.

And they halved the normally 250 reserved phonebook entries to gain free space for that.

The only way to get these other 137 numbers back is to put back the backup flash U made before trying this 'modified' version.

Or decide to accept the fact Ur phone now has less available names but is pleased with extra tones or logos which normally wouldn't be in it.

I have only uploaded PACK A (ENGL - GERM - ITAL) at the moment as I would like some feedback on the new layout.

Also I added my OWN AUTOMATIC ANSWER SCRIPT. I have only done a small test but it worked great but could use some more feedback on this. By using the menu you can select to answer...

1] Check you eeprom. Make sure you have done a FULL factory reset.
2] Fixed for next release.
3] Make sure the other sim has it number saved to the sim. (Use a 8210).

I have done another update of my flash and site.

This release only contains ENGL & GERM language but I will do others again soon.

So far I have added...

Anykey answer: Use keys 1 to 9, up, down, * & # to answer the call. (Key 0 is to stop the ringing). You will not be able to answer using this option if the keypad is locked.

No Network warning: Simply plays a tone every time the phone returns no signal (about every 20 - 30 seconds). This can be turned on/off via menu. It also displays "Searching" on the standby screen until a signal is found.

Multi Operator Logos: Well sort of.. You have a choice of 10 Logos that can be display in place of the operator name. Can also be turned on/off via menu. If you receive a operator logo the just turn this off.

Display Date: This option will display the date in the standby screen. Can be turned on/off.

These may be bugs but I hope to fix them soon, but if you find any please let me know.

I have 2 3310 / 2 3330 all running the same firmware. On mine

The operator logo does not always appear, I need to fix that.
Contrast / Startup / Virbra & Beep all work all mine so I would suggest you try a virgin eeprom if not already done so if the problems still continue then try another phone.

I dono bout this specific dvirus file, but in general vibra is a tough issue.

My conclusion is that vibra has two seperate commands, one to start & one to stop vibrating.

Unlike tones which usually only have one start/ length command.

So when a ringtone is halway played and ended play before the stop vibrating command value was passed, it will keep vibrating.

Dono for sure, but to me the most likely cause for this problem.

hi dvirus its me your fav beta tester im back right i have just download and tested your software in three seprate hand sets mate and the only prob on all three was that it set the contrast to 1 wich makes it a bit hard to read and then ajust luckly i could just see it if helf right so used short key to change to grid view the contrast short key and uped it but otherwise the phone seems to be running and acting fine (like i say tested on all three)

Not yet. Been very busy this last two months on other things. I was trying to get an update for this month but it looks like it wont happen just yet.

Just a small Bug Fix update with a couple of new scripts added.

I cant remember what scripts were added as my HDD crashed today :x and lost most of what I had.

The uploaded flash is just a copy of my phone (without eeprom). it still has a bug with the operator logos but until I restore my PC and find all my backups there is nothing I can do.

There is a NEW SPY function added. This version does not require the user to lock the keypad or set a silent profile. The script will do it itself but you should turn off the vibra function as this will still vibrate a little. Activate spy the same way as before but to return to normal operation you must enter a pin code combination. *384787# This is the only way to return back to normal.

You can use the 3310 flash on your 3330 but it must be flashed twice.

Yes, the battery returns a value for it's temperature to the phone somehow.

It can already be seen in netmonitor menu (page 23 from my head) and Nokia uses it for it's battery loading sequences.

These scripts/ files use it to also display it wherever the guys want it to be shown.

And yes I admit, these screendemos look rather cool, nice job.

Practical working solution too:

Attach a 3310 virgin eeprom to Mr. DVirus file, and flash that 2MB file 1 time to 20.0000 and 1 time to 40.0000.

Set Ur imei, faid, reset factory defaults and reboot.

Tested setting the clock on both my 3310's several times, flashed with Pack 'A'. Clock Setting works fine, and neither phones either display the problem you describe, or random restarts.

Have you considered that this may be a poor battery connection? Try cleaning the battery contacts on the phone and battery, and make sure battery is pushed well forward onto the contacts before closing the case. I have noticed that some batteries are slightly smaller (length-wise), which can mean the battery sometimes slides away from the contacts, sometimes on to them, particularly when the phone is being handled. I know this may sound 'too simple', but I have one of these smaller batteries, and found out the 'hard way'. If you find you can manually slide the battery away from the contacts when it is in place, causing the phone to stop working, try slipping a piece of cardboard at the bottom so that the battery is pushed up securely against the contacts. Of course your problems might be caused by other factors, but it is not Pack 'A'.

The 'volume' problem in Spymode definitely seems to be fixed (although as it was intermittent I cant be 100%), I have tested it on numerous occasions though.

No. Just use the one in your phone. Just make sure you do a full factory reset, it should help.

I have done another update to the flash. The update contains...

Date menu changed. Will show chosen option in the menu.
Large Bold Number fonts changed to DIGI type.
War0anty menu now goes back to standby without rebooting.
Added keylock backlights. When you have locked the keypad.
.pressing the navi key once will turn on the lights, again will turn off.
*#0000# *#06# changed back to original settings with a 5 second TIMED close.
Added *#74643#. SIM ID. This will show the SIM card ID.
Added *#746# to view sim card menu if available. Removed menu entry.
Added feature to Clock to display --:-- when not set.
Added Sudoku & Bit of Pipe games.
Added Temperature option to profile menu.
Removed Display Date, Standby Logos PROFILE options. Now will only be display in GENERAL profile only.
Some menus have been changed. Read the Update list information.
changed made to compiling of scripts.

Hi,
I'm having some trouble installing the D virus mod.

fter flashing you MUST do a full factory reset via mbus cable, activate Net monitor and enable 3315 settings.

I got no problem with the full factory reset. But how am I supposed to activate net monitor and enable 3315 settings?
I use rolis and when I activate netmonitor the phone dies. I mean it turns on and it seems fine but can't call out or receive incoming calls, it's like the phone is turned off.

I got no clue on how to enable 3315 settings.

So basically the phone seems to work fine but I can't use the spy function with predermined number. I setted all thestuff in compositor but it doesn work.
when I call using the predetermined number nothing happens.

can anyone help me out?

@ bry82: You are having some problems. As long as the phone has a full factory reset, dont worry about the rest.

Not sure why nothing is working correctlly. Never mind, V3 will be out as soon as I have fixed the new Spy mode.
