The latest series 60 v2 Symbian phones (have seen it on UK 7610 and US 6620) appear to present a new challenge for unlocking, anyone else experienced it?
If you enter an unlock code calculated with a serial that is not that used by the supplying network/carrier, then it presents "Code Error" on the first entry. Any subsequent code entered then will give NO response at all, when you press the final # the code disappears and the phone instantly returns to "Insert SIM".
If you enter an unlock code calculated using the serial used by the supplying network/carrier then it unlocks as normal.
So, do we know the serials of the big networks? I only know T-Mobile use 32802.
Anybody know US AT&T's serial (not MCCMNC, but serial) so I can test the above theory on their phones?
