View Full Version : Problem flashing, please help!
Hi, i was flashing my phone when i ran out of batt.
Now it doesn't switch on and when i try to flash it again i get the next error:
"Flash erasing error"
Mus recive 91 00 FF, but recived :FF FF FF
Check Vpp, Vbat voltage, phone type...

What can i do to flash it again? Any help?

try using Knok instead of Rolis.....if need be plug in the mainscharger and flick on and off to get the connect battery
If i try Know i get:
"Cannot prepare phone"

try option without erase ??
I have already tryed it and i get
Cannot initialize device.
Privileged instruction.
And i'm using UserPort, so that's not the problem.
Any other help??

This is the log i get trying to flash with knok.
It starts but when it gets 17% it stops.
Any help please??

Ok, i guess its a problem of the cable, because with an other nokia3310 and trying read the flash i get an error.
I'm gonna try to open and check all the conections.

the problam your getting is the computer can't read the phone's flash memory.
first thing to do is double-check the Rx line on your flash connector, it may be a bit faulty if you are getting 'FF's.
and when rolis says 'press the power button' do not press power but instead remove the battery, put it back in, and plug in the charger.
those methods usually work.

also be sure that your LPT port is set to bi-directional (EPP+ECP mode)
usualy i think your phone battery is low...main reason to have problems during flashing...
