I'd appreciate pointers on the following situation.
The phone in question is a 3510i - not mine, so I am a bit late on the problem. Some 4 or so days ago, too much stuff was apparently downloaded onto it, and the phone shut down. Won't turn on since. I assume it was a case of memory cache being overloaded or something.
Now, I got this phone and try to reason with it. I put it in the charger for a few hours first, so it's loaded. If I try to turn it on, I can get its screen to light up for a second, but there's no PIN prompt or anything, it shuts down again. Now, I know the Nokia reset code, so if I could get to the main menu, I'd be able to wipe it clean.
Question is... any tips on how can I get it that far, or, alternatively, is there another way to reset the phone memory, like some jumpers on the scheme maybe similar to how one can clear a computer BIOS with the right motherboard jumpers?
Any help is appreciated.
