7250i camera problem

when i try to use the camera it says starting camera then i just get "operation failed" has anyone else had this problem everything else works fine on the phone, this is why i wanted to reformat the phone ,has anyone got any ideas ? it sounds more like software than hardward to me thanks

I used to get something similar on my 7250i, when i would try an take a picture the screen would go blank then i'd get a operation failed message. It started after I dropped the phone so I figured dropping it again would fix it. It did, this sounds stange but you need to hit the phone, sort of slap. You should hit it on the back quite hard, on the nokia logo, the camera should work again. I know it sounds stupid but it worked on mine. I ruined my cover by dropping before figuring out exactly where i needed to hit it.
