DEAD question

I would like to know how a phone can become a DEAD. I know that by writing some bad data to the eeprom area this can happen. But shouldn't a full rewrite of the flash(with a good back-up) solve the problem? I ask this not because i did that, but i'm curious what can happen if I do something wrong. Until now i have flahsed only the MCU and PPM.
And i want to know if the g3n0lite modifies the eeprom area, caz if it does and something goes wrong... it wouldn't be very nice

With DCT3 you cannot harm your phone by flashing
(unless during flash you drop in water!! :lol:)

Best thing to do is to make a backup of your working phone that way any modifications you make can be undone very quickly!
