switching on 3G network monitor

I was told in another forum that it is possible to switch ON a version of network monitor but for 3G in Samsung mobile phones. The guy said it was a code needed to input into the phone. Does anyone know this code and which Samsung model is relevant?

Cheers S.s.b.a.s.r.a. The models mentioned to me for a 3G network monitor are SAMSUNG, SIEMENS U15 and Motorola A835 but not come up wid the code to display it on the screen. :-?
