Hi,

I'm having a nightmare trying to get PC Suite to recognise my Nokia 6600 via bluetooth.

I have set-up all the BT connections, and the connection is showing in the Mrouter. I can pass files directly onto my phone no problem.

If I right-click on M-Router and select "Change Devices", my Nokia phone is showing in the "unknown devices" section at the bottom and not the "known device" section at the top. Also the name showing in the unknown section is odd, it's not showing the name which I have called it, its showing "Nokia 270513117 (bluetooth)" which is something I don't recognise.

As there are no known devices, each time I time and open PC Suite it's telling me to connect my phone to the PC which I have done.

I don't think this is a problem with my phone, as this is a replacement one which I lost, and I had the same problem with the orginal one.

I am running XP - SP 1

I spent an hour this afternoon on the phone with Nokia technical help and they were stumped, so can anyone out there help me please?

Thanks
Jamie

Unpair the device in your bluetooth software...set it to discovery

and pair it up from your 6600...

see if that works...and if it still comes up with that number just accept it and see if it changes the name over the next few connections...

and btw have u tried mrouter3beta? it will end your nightmares ;)

cheers ;)

Hi,

Nope installed that, but it still doesn't work.

Any other ideas?
