I've just tried the demo.
Wow!
It rocks.
One of best s60 shoot-'em-up games, I'll say. (together with Skyforce)
Have no idea from where I can buy it though.

Yes, I also got it from Tompda.
And sorry for not providing a link. (I didn't know it's that hard to find)

I d/l a retail version (I guess) from irc earlier.
But couldn't get it to work without a reg code.
The demo only has one stage.

More pics of MB2 from here:

http://www.mapps.net/model/ngagemetalbluster2.php

Seems like we can only buy it from China's Nokia shop for the time being.
(at the price of rmb68, or US$8.5 - a real bargain!)
I'll go check it out on my next China trip.

Looks really like the mech warrior 3050 of super nintendo!! By the way,the metal buster 1 is dammed f**king hard to win.. Plenty of enemies and I spend don't know how many hrs to complete it! Still a gd game in terms of graphic and game play but the control need some improvement ,hard to control! :)

Very nice! The controls have been much improved compared to part 1.

And it is a very long level for a demo! Nice, nicer, nicest!!! :D

But on IRC there is another version out - a full version, but I think you need to buy the key-code for it...

I found on mediaplace this file: MB2_S60_v1_0.rar. Its Metal Bluster 2, and its 1,6MB, but unfortunatelly after installing its asking for the reg code. Any solutions to get it working?

old metal bluster episode 1 was hard and very bad (i think it is for 3650 or 7650 and doesn't like 6600 hardware).15-20 days ago i dl a new version for 6600 (or maybe for all s60s) and it was awesome.the keys was changed (shooting and selecting weapons) and playability was improved. i quickly finished it. i am waiting for episode 2 (as good as ep1 of course).

New Demo version out! (v1.1 s60)
Features new menus & full english translation.
get it from my-symbian.com...(it's a 1,6 mb .sis file)
Now that the controls have been greatly improved from ep.1 (as the gfx & sfx i should say) this game fastly reached no1 position on my personal most-wanted chart!! :-D

errrr...the one at my-symbian.com only has 1.3mb and not 1.6mb, i also downloaded the 1.6mb from irc, its in chinese and asks for a reg code.

That's because the first one is only a demo and the 2nd one is the full version, which you can buy (and get a unique reg-code for your phone).
