Anyone unlocked a 6610i from Tesco

Hi.

Just today bought a 6610i from Tesco and can't seem to unlock it.

Have used Unlock Codes Calculator v2.31 by Crux and codes 1 & 7 have not worked.

I have double checked the IMEI (both on the back of the 'phone and by keypad) and also the operator code.

Anyone done this successfully yet? (I want to use my Orange SIM).

Phone software is v3.10 26-03-04. Cheers.

some of the later ones were Asic 5, not ASIC2 like the crux calc says,

also tesco use network code 23400003 on the newer phones, not 23410000

only use code 7

I tried using ASIC-5 and the network provider code you suggested - this is shown as Tesco 3510i.

Code still did not work and I am now at 4 tries!

If I insert my orange SIM it still says 'Phone restricted' hitting Undo prompts me for 'Enter Restriction Code' - I take it this just means the code generated by a calc proggie? (and if I have used my five lives I don't get the option?)

use serial datacable for connector under battery and bwinlock to read out config key.

use 32835 as boxkey as this is not blacklisted yet

A tried v2 type 2 and 23410.

I have been told that the unlocking process is not 100% working as the ability to use the MMS on the phone will become disabled or corrupted when using unlocking methods.

I am returning the phone to Tesco as unsuitable.
