:-? I read in at least one of the threads here that along with the 3650 it can't have its firmware upgraded or flashed...Really? I mean, I thought of all Nokia fones, it would be the easiest one to flash...(not that I know much about flashing)

Well, anyways, does anyone know if it's now possible to do so? I mean, I have N-Gage with a demo version loaded on to it (it fell off a truck ok?? :D and it can't do much except play games and bluetooth and makes a pretty good paperweight (not really)
:(

Does anyone know what I need to have if I want to try flashing it? I appreciate any advice....except for sending it to Nokia support  Or maybe anyone has this type of "service" to offer?
Thanks!

don't know who said that but there are loads of tools out to flash the n-gage and the 3650 like the neelix 3 or the griffin platinum box 1 and 2, there expensive usually about £200 to £400 per unit so there not very economical if you only need it for one phone but if you intend to flash others phones for some income then there a decent investment..

i've read somewhere that before you can flash the demo n-gage, you need to first change the flash ic.

look into the matter further before you go out buying a flasher box. :-P

simpley because it is a demo or more accuratley a prototype model. it is only intended to test certain functions it is not a fully funtional retail version, you can try flashing i but i would be very carefull as prototypes are not as stable as the retail versions and you may indeed kill it if you do flash it.
