7600 2g coverage

hiya peeps,

ive got a 7600 originally on 3 therefore olny looking for a 3g signal.

ive traid all my local stalls/shop but no seems to want to do it for me!?

i dont really wanna spend £150ish on a griffin box just so i can do it!!!

do any of you know of any companes i could send my phone to? or would any of you be helpful enoigh to do it for me??

obvisouly i know id have to pay!!

if i can trsut you, ill get it done1

i just need the hidden menu activated!

cprafferty, I have had a hardware reset done on my phone, and recovered the lost menu. However, I now have the "goto resets phone" problem. Is it possible to get a firmware upgrade to the 4.03/4.05 and recover the goto button function and still have the hidden menu activated.

Just get them to re-flash your phone if they use the euro Phone profile file the menu will remain.

trying to edit the thing so i can make the 7600 look for 2g networks, because on your guide it says giffin box or any other dct 4 profile editor.

Sorry i'm afraid i dont think there is a free option.
You tried going to Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Network Mode > Dual Network/GSM and the option is not there, yes?
cprafferty said that he would do it if you pay P+P just above here, or im sure you could easily find someone who would do it for about £10.
