I have this 5510 that doesn't want to accept the headset. The headset itself is okay (tested on another 5510), but if I connect it and, for example, push the "radio" button, it says "Connect headset"...
I've tried reflashing it (not EXT_UI), checked all the connectors and also tried switching the headset sockets (since there are two exactly same sockets in the phone).
So, what could be the problem?
The story of that phone (just an example of a "good" service): It all happened when my friend (its his phone) took the to the service to get his power button (that is possibly the most often breaking thing of that phone) fixed. When he got his phone back the phone didn't detect the headset, so he took it there again. After the second time they said everything was fixed, but actually, the power button stopped working one day after that and headset problem was there again.
