I have a nokia 3310, i have used rolis 4.77 and have changed the version, but can get the signal and phone just turns off auto.
Used windows Me, with flash cable.
Have the same prob with nokia 8210.

Can some 1 help me plz.........

You have to update Flash Authority ID (FAID) with Eeprom tools 3.1 or Rolis Nok tool.

Dear Sir.
If you update to higher version you must flash with full flash not mcu+ppm, and you edit flash from standard just only mcu+ppm then flash agian. sorry for my english, but U can understand.

must i have data cable for nok tool 18?
I have using flash cable. Do i have 2 use com 1 port for this software. Because i have tryid data cable and it can find the port. It said that port is buzy.

it is advisable to flash mcu+ppm only to protect the eeprom data, you dont need to flash the eeprom when upgrading to higher version.

Do i need data cable for eeprom tool 3.1?
But i have tryed a data cable too, but it sad that, the com port is buzy.
Can some 1 help me?

Maybe you didnt change the IMEI number of the phone.
Try to put back the original IMEI of the phone and update the FAID.
