I listened that it is posible...

It is possible. one signal is form the buzzer and other is coming from speaker.

yes its true i have some other tones that it can play both on buzzer and the phone speaker. But the sound on the speaker is not loud enough... if some body will focus on this project would be great.. to aplify the sound from the speaker... how about all the tones will be played on the speaker? that would be cool... ready for poly? :-o

i have some idea.. to create a echoic sound on 33xx... but i dont know where can i find something that can produce delay the sound on the other buzzer..

what i mean is try to get 2 phones and play with the same ringtones.. and delay the other phone with .5 sec. try to listen its cool.. it would be great if we can make in on one phone...this is reverse electronic.. :D

Does Smarkies mean coming from the speaker or does he mean all from the ringer but with a delay...

Have you tried g3gg0's flash that makes a wav file go though the ringer?
Its not very loud but it is very impressive. :D

I'm really tired and im off to bed... I don't have time to try this .mid.
It actualy started off as Nokia Tune but i messed up the tempo etc... oh well... i'm guessing it wont work anyway... but you can try it if ya want. :razz:

1) Write and insert to MCU MIDI Player - it must play midi form some adress by speeker
2) Insert melodys to PPM - here we have 117438 of free space...

To have more free space in PPM we need to delete noneneeded languages, operator logos and tones, for example I deleted all operators, 2 languages (now I have only ENGL and RUSS) and all tones from PPM now free space = 216686 (in 3310 NHM-5 v.6.07)

I know that when 8310 starting it playing short polytone from speeker, so anybody (who have 8310) can search in FLS where is this tone found and how it playing...

Hi,

U can do both, midi or wave emulation.

Midi:

I myself see RE as very simple form of midi.

Though midi is supposed to be standarised language and the behaviour depends mainly on the devices using it, not the capabilities of the scripts.

Every tool using midi supposed to have a midi implementation chart.

That chart document informs U about the capabilities of the hardware of that tool.

The one for the older sound generation chip in the dct3 will be quite simplistic.

It recognised 3 octaves of keyvalue numbers, is single channel, monophonic and single timbral generator.

Those words mean one voice to be played and one voice to be sounded at same time.

Still U can try hard to implement lots of complex code in Ur file to be able to play midi data in the end, but U will never get more result as what U already know from the midi-alike RE script that Nokia uses.

Wav:

I do like what 8310 does to the speaker at booting up, wav play emulation.

That stuff is also been done by Mr. G3gg0 in a 3310 demo once.

He also made it possible to put Ur own wav data in it, if it's been sampled at a current bitrate.

Mono 8khz 4 bits sound or so from the head, not quite professional, though nice to play around with.

Is a bit of problematical question.

Since there is 3 types of data;

1. the notes as U see them in eg logomanager or ringtone sites.

2. the converted type of these notes which are being used in mbus communication.

3. the notes as they are being played in Ur sound chip. (0002FC..)

I saw both 2 and 3 is being used in both mcu & ppm.

Most logically there is a chance that per phone type also the eeprom contents can differ.
