Hi,

I need to unlock this Nokia 1100 (just bought from Virgin UK this week). I’ve browsed thru previous posts which have directed me to download “Unlock Codes Calculator by Crux” from ”gsmschwantz”… Now, I have some questions…maybe one of you guys can help me…

- I have 3 options in the calc. :- 1100, 1100a & 1100b!!! Which one should I choose & how can I check which model is mine???
- My 2nd ques : Virgin also has 3 options!!!! Virgin (some 3510i), Virgin (Special Code) & Virgin. Here also, which one should I choose???
- Then, just to make sure…. Is my phone Asic 2???
- Last, should I choose V2 or Griffin New??
- Do I have 3 or 5 tries to input the code??? Coz, when I calculate the code, I have 7 codes….

Thx 4 ur hlp guys!!!!

PS : I can't access uniquesw.com to download the calc. Access is forbidden!!!Mr Yotamz, is there another link to this calc...

To know which model to choose, enter *#0000# on your phone and it will give the corresponding RH version

1100 RH-18
1100a RH-38
1100b RH-36

Regarding the virgin codes, not sure....think its just the standard virgin but I could be wrong

Yes. Phone is ASIC 2

Choose V2 not Griffin

You have 5 tries.

Thx for the info...

Yeah... I did try this code *#0000# earlier. Although, it worked on my old nokia phone...on the 1100, nothing happens!!! I was hoping there was some other way/code to reveal the RH version...

By the way...what's RH

Thx

Don´t know what means RH...

By the way *#0000# works perfect on my 1100.

But you can find out by looking behind the battery :)

Take out the battery and take a look at the label on the back side of the phone... really under the battery. At least mine says it is 1100b RH36, followed by the IMEI.

Of the seven codes, use the last one.

Sounds very like you are entering a digit too many???

Be careful with the quantity. In the moment that you enter the last #, you should see a message displayed, like "sim restriction off", or, if you entered a wrong code, "code error". If you see the message "can not undo restriction", or something similar, is that you blew the five tries, and you can only unlock it by cable, flashing the phone.

try first box 33552 (appears like GTCL-001 on nokiafree calc), the seventh code. If it does not work, try v2.

All the 1100s that I have unlocked (several of them, here is the phone "that everybody uses", cause it's cheap, reliable and simple), have been unlocked with either of those box. Most of them with 33552.

Try the seventh code of each set (on set for each box) JUST ONCE. If it does not work, post again. Don't blow away the five tries, save at least one for a last chance!!

and please, post results if it works, because nobody does and I can´t know which code works for which version.

Bought a 1100 from WHSmiths £9.99 trade in offer. Under the battery is the phone type in my case RH18.

installed the NokiaFREE310unlock codes software (downloaded from here) Chose 1100(RH18) entered IMEI number - chose UK - then virgin-SPECIALCODE and calculated - Used the 7th entry.....

Worked first time. Hope this helps somebody...

@stevehaz_uk, thank you very much for posting. I have read somewhere that Virgins special code was working, but no one gave confirmation. Great you did it! thanks man. This will help a lot, no doubt.
