I recently purchased a new Nokia 6820. This model is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard when the flip is opened. Its very handy for text input.
The problem is with the keys! When I press "Q" a letter "A" appears! and when I press "A" the letter "Q" appears!
The problem is with the following keys : W, Z , M, ;, and the ALL the numbers need to be pressed together with "SHIFT" key!
When I went to the shop from where I bought it he tried 3 other new 6820 models but ALL had this same problem! I liked the phone and kept it! But now i wish that I fix this problem.
Anyone has a solution for this problem? Maybe there is a software or a firmware update for this model?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe it's a firmware bug? Tried going to the service center?

i dont think its a firmware problem, nokia phones usually have firmware problems, but this is a too big mistake to be in the relase version.. i dont believe the prototype testers did not see this bug:)
its a hardware problem, check where your phone is made, and where you live, maybe its made in an abroad country with not qwerty keyboard and they changed the keyboard and updated firmware when the phone got imported from abroad, im not sure this can be possible but why not ? :o :o

Sounds like it is a 6820 for the French. I test some MS software for other languages, and that is the sort of character switch I see on the keyboard when I use the French OS.
I don't mind the few characters switched on a PC, but on a phone, and especially for the need to hold shift for the numbers, THAT would be terrible.

Yes I agree with that, I once had a PC keyboard with a similar prob, I took it back to the shop and it turned out to be a French keyboard.
