Personal midi tones don't work! H E L P

:???: Hi guys, I've never posted here before because I've always found already posted here what I was looking for... but not this time, I think!
The problem is simple: when I use a personal midi ringtone as ringtone, the phone uses the default nokia tone. If i use an .amr file or .awb it works perfectly. Can anyone tell what to do?

Ahh, I experienced this once on my old 6600

You must place all your ringtones (eg MIDI, AMR, AWB) in either
C:/Nokia/Sounds/Digital (Phone Memory); or
E:/Sounds/Digital (Memory Card)

Thanx for the hint: it worked percfectly with awb files but with midi files unfortunately it didn't work :-(
I don't know what to do...
Any help appreciated

Try restoring your phone. Enter *#7370# on main screen and press the calling button to restore the original settings.
