Hi,

I just wanted to know can i have a video file as a screensaver?

At the moment, it is the standard O2 symbol.

However, I have this vide file of a car which I want to set up whenever the phone is inactive?

Thanks

think you only can have .gif as screensaver that is animated! and i think if there will come a app that support video as screensaver it will kill the battery:P

i agree. that would drain the battery fast. btw, does any1 knows a screensaver app for 6600 that could turn off the LCD screen instead of showing the usuall screensaver? that way the battery power would be conserve more. if my memory serves me right, i think P800 has this feature.

i just made a small, 1*1 gif and set the background color as transparent. I then used Psiloc Screensaver and set that gif as the screensaver. The result is effectively an off LCD.

No backlight, nothing being displayed.

I think this is pretty effective since, for me atleast, its greatly estended the battery life.

As for completely switching off the LCd during inactivity, i'm not sure how this could be done.

Hope this helps!

I don't think any phone support this now.
