C100 cable

i have a P510 phone, it needs imei changing and i read somewhere that C100 cable will work when used with A300 solution, i have an A300 cable with no D/L box and this cable has 2 crocodile type clips, can this cable be modified to work on the C100 or P510 imei change :-?
