6100 bus.card details and ir

Hi all,
I just got my new nokia 6100 and i have some problems with the ir comm.
The problem is that i cannot send bus.card details from the my 2 old nokia phones 7110 and 8210 to my new 6100 using ir connection. What i do is :
1. initiate ir connectivity in both phones.
2. Select a name from 7110 and send the details to 6100 using Ir.
3. 7110/8210 reports that failed to send the details.
Now the strange thing is that i can send details from my 7110 to my wife's 6110; i can also send details from 6110/6310i to my 6100, so what is going wrong? The firmware version of 6100 is 5.80.
Any help is welcome.

Not all nokia phones compatible with each other, sadly this is true
a 6230 or a 6220 cant communicate with a 6610i, this is happening to you, they arent compatible :x
