SIM registration failure in Nokia 6600

Local sim card is working fine with my 6600, but when i tried replacing my local sim card with a text roaming sim card. It says sim registration failure. I know the text roaming sim card is not defective as it is working fine with other nokia model.

could anybody here help in solving this problem? :-?

I had a problem similar to this. I put my friend's SIM card on my 6600 and it worked like a charm. So what I did was I put the foreign SIM card to my 6610 and it worked. I really have no idea what was wrong.

can u still use ur phone normally? i get that error sometimes too, but din affect my phone usage.
