After much search I found some great free software to unlock almost any nokia phone. No cables needed, no payment, just a simple freeware program. you can find it at www.unlocksmith.com and the name of the program is UNLOCK CODES CALCULATOR 2.2 All the instructions are right on the page. I had tried everything and was about to give up when I found this program it worked perfectly. hopes this helps somebody. :)
