I formatted my 128 via computer, and now when i put it in my phone will read it, but not my pc when i plug in the cable to my phone and computer it doen't come up as an extra drive....does ne1 have a solution?

this post has come up time and time again, i was searchin the forums jus the other day about it and i saw on a thread that some1 said that once u have formatted ur mmc ur pc wont recognize it, the only way to do it is apparenly thru dos, where it will format it through an fat 12 format, so i dont kno wat else to say.

i know how u feel, i gotta use my crummy 32mb when i got a 128 sitting in my draw, but y dont u just buy an mmc reader? u can pick them up for £10 from dabs or mapins or if u even want an internal 1 there even cheaper.

Cool thing with thye card reader is also when you wanna swap files with mates that are too big to bluetooth each other you haven't gotta keep pluggin cards in and out the back of the phone.
If your card is pretty new you could take it back and swap it for another card that your PC will detect.
