Unlocking 7610

hi,
ive tryed 5 codes using the ASIC 5 option. But ive had no sucsess , ive got my self a USB data cable so would like to know where i go from here? thanks

you need to take it to someone with a griffin box or unlock clip....you cannot do it yourself

only dct3's can be unlocked via pc and cable

in 7610
there is an option to format the phone..
(not *#7370# or 'Restore Factory Settings' )

Power off..
Hold button 3, and button '*' and the green call button (left button in 7610)
and power on

[Switch off the mobile, hold 3,*,call answer keys
and while holding all three buttons, switch on the mobile]

keep holding the 3 keys until u get the word formatting on the screen..
now the phone formats and restores to how it was originally made..

MY QUESTION IS:

lets say I tried 5 times inputting the DCT-4 unlock codes..
And none of them work..

after formatting..
will I get 5 more tries? :rolleyes:

or do I have to use a cable? :sad:

cause..formatting the phone makes it fresh..

I've inputted the unlock code 4 times without success..
got a model 7610
RH 51

Type: Asic 2
Serial: Asic 6 - 32802
Country: UK
and Provider: Orange
I tried code 7..
and code 1..

no luck..
I've got just one try left..
any suggestions?

if you got no code error message you can continue putting the codes of the set of codes;)
there is also one other boxserial

I've got loads of unlockers (code generators)
my question was

will the code count (five attempts)
be reset if the phone is FULL (HARD) formatted?

.. about the 5 attemps
there are some phones where you have more attemps.. it appened to me..
my dct3 6210 doesnt block;)
and its original software;)
so i might also have luck;)

Hi,

I tried to unlock my 7610 but with no success. I used the Calculator v2.31 by Crux.
The settings were:
DCT4-7610(RH-51)
IMEI: 35...
MCC+MNC: 29341000
Asic-5
T-Mobile: 32802

I tried the code number 7 but it is wrong :???:

Any suggestions?

try same configuration but only 1st code..then post back
but 1st confirm the softare version
check behind the baterie the model of the phone.. see if its 7610(RH-51) or 7610b(RH-52)
the 7610b is asic 2

It's a 7610(RH-51).
It said sim unlocked or something like that. I tried my another SIM card and it worked.

So... I don't need to type the 7th code?

no you dont;)
i've read better i see it was a RH-51

asic5 ALGORITHM is not very good on recent phones
generaly only 1st code works;)
