3100 security code reset

Hi there folks. I need your help.

I have a Nokia 3100 and recently someone played around with it and changed the security code. Is there any way to reset that? to put it back to 12345?

I heard about new programm that can show You Your code. Try to find in Nokia DCT4 software folder.

Also LogoManager can show code. (Not 100%)

Do You have any cable to connect phone to PC?

software is called Gammu, it can reset the code to 12345

dos based ..bit of a so and so to set up

logomanager only reads dct3

btw, Is it an especific cable or can I buy a nokia cable available for my phone model?

hi there everybody!

thanks to the forum i now know how to reset my forgotten security code.but my problem is i can't get my 3100 detected by gammu :(
i've edited the gammurc file almost every way that is sensible but still no hope.gammu gives timeout error,so i assume my settings are correct.
i've a dku5 cable and winXP installed.can windows be blocking my com port?if so what should i do?

current settings in gammurc:
port = com7:
model = 3100
connection = fbus

edit : i've managed to hunt the problem by myself.
what i did : gammu --searchphones -debug
and i saw my phone was detected with both fbus and fbusdlr3 protocols.i edited gammurc to use the protocol fbusdlr3 and -slash- it worked :) (guess i should have tried earlier :o )

think you need a program called userport, tell it you are using com port 7

I have download the software gammu.

I have a NOKIA 3100 and i search to reset my security code (because i forgot it)

I configure gammu, this software is good, it can communicate with my phone, I read all my sms message.

And i write : gammu --nokiasecuritycode (reset to "12345" security code)

But when i turn on my phone, i put my PIN code, but the code security isn't "12345".
Help me please, i don't know where is my error.

My data cable is a USB cable, it use : USB to COM4.

But the software called fbus by maestro don't reconize my phone on COM 4 (choice of this software is COM1 or COM2).
