How can i make this work in Windows XP?

i set it to run in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode, which solves the "Privileged Instruction" error, but then it declares that dongle is not detected.

however dongle is detected fine in win98SE.

any help is much appreciated

try searching for userport.sys it allows win xp to use the ports normally like in win98se (security feature of win xp !!! or could it be a bug lol)

it should allow access to the dongle port :)
if it is a usb dongle then this might not work !!!!!

i Have another problem i'm hoping you could tip me out of phantom.

when i click unlock/repair in WinDCT4 2.0, i get a MBUS does not respond, or some equivalent error.
dealer says to disconnecte the dongle, restart the software and repower the phone, reconnect and try again.
i do, repeatedly, and keep getting the same error. this happens on several different machines, win98se and xp alike..

i wonder if the LPT1 port needs to have some kind of configuration to it done.

any ideas?

I have the same problem, but It dosnt work on any platform. Not in XP, not In 98.. I can flash, but I cannot unlock. Thanx for help

I have only seen windct4 2.0 to unlock 6310's only <5.10. Use mastercodes instead of dongle. Much safer.
