Hi Guys,
I've spent a week going through tutorials and searching through the forum to find an answer as to why I cannot flash my 6210.
Using Knok (with 2100 support) I've done the following:
Selected the 'Read' menu from the title bar
Clicked on the 'Read fullflash and store as FLS' option
When Knok prompts to press the power button I've plugged in my charger (I've also tried pressing the power button ... same result)
After about 30 seconds I get "Cannot prepare phone" message box.
I've also tried using Rollis v 4.79 build (001). After selecting 6210 from the dropdown, I press the green button. It then displays 'Press power on shortly' in the status window. At this point I plug in my charger ...... 30 minutes later and nothing! Status bar still displays 'Press power on shortly'.
I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 98 second edition. The parallel port is set to ECP in the bios and I've connected my flasher cable to it.
I just don't know what I'm doing wrong ... my heads starting to hurt after hitting the wall so many times.
I would really appreciate you help.
