m55 & freia or m55 tool

Hi everybody.

My girlfriend has a M55 but it is locked.

The phone's provider = KPN
And her simcard = Telfort

We have a non-original cable (COM) and we have both the Freia 15 and m55 tool by WC-PICKER.

Let me tell you what happends when we try to unlock...

WC-PICKER:
-We turn off the mobile.
-We remove the simcard.
-We insert the datacable in COMpoort 1.
-We plug the datacable into the phone.
-We boot M55 tool by WC-PICKER.
-We set the baudrate to 115k.
-We press [unlock].
-We see the status-screen saying "Waiting power on....".
-We tap the power button on the phone.
-We see the status-screen saying "Booting phone....".
-We see the status-screen saying "Transmition error".

WTF? :-?
What must we do now?
Besides pulling our hair out in frustration that is..

Owkee... Now Freia 15:
-We turn off the mobile.
-We remove the simcard.
-We insert the datacable in COMpoort 1.
-We plug the datacable into the phone.
-We boot Freia.
-We select the M55 in the [phone information] section.
-We then go to the [unlocking functions] in Freia.
-We select the [Direct unlock also save map] option.
-We then select [use original IMEI]
-We can see in the status-screen "Waiting for power-on"
-We press.... power-on
-We see in the status-screen "phone is powered-on"
-We then see in the status-screen "boot file is not accepted"

WTF? :-?
What boot file?


As you can see... it is frustrating and we are running out of hair to pull from our heads.

Please... can anyone help us?
Or a step-by-step somewhere online?
I've been looking everywhere on the net already.

Man.. I hope someone can help us here.

Hi,
M55 will be probably new soft versions and needs testpoint..

don't know the M55 testpoint by heart could be you need to cut or solder or remove resistor on pcb itself..
If you do not want to do this yourself find somebody near you to do it..

contact me private (in dutch) then I will give you contact details from unlocker near you..

change the boot options in freia 15 to ( bootcore bug)
and use the log and map settings to unlock the phone.

Type *#06#...now U are in service menu...check which version is Ur phone..if its 11 or high U need to use test point...bout it Mr Salami1_1 olready told U..Ill just add..U can search the net for a soft called test point...its a nice progy with pictures of siemens test points..

I encountered the same problem last night when I unlocked my M56. Make sure the sim card is out and boot type is "Bootcore Bug". If you have any other questions, hit me up and i will try to help.

after you cut the test point (go to http://www.gsm-free.com)
try to create log with FREIA 10 set to model M55 and Bootcore bug option. If it "accept boot" then test point was cut OK. if it doesn't accept the boot. you haven't cut the testpoint.
use FREIA build 10 and choose model M55 set to bootcore bug and choose unlock using "original IMEI" and "direct unlock do not save map".
you are done, the phone is unlocked
