Replacement for Nokia 6310i

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice.

I currently have a 6310i which I've had for around 2 1/2 years. Fabulous phone apart from the case losing all of the silver finish around the edges...anyways I would like to upgrade it, but the question is to what???

I really need a business class mobile as I use the features on it - especially infra red to connect to my laptop.

Is there a direct replacement, as the 6310 was so obviously for the 6210??

p.s. Wish list - a 6310i with colour screen, speaker phone, polyphonic ringtones and in the body of say a 3100 would be great.

No replacement up to now... It is the best phone...

The 6230i should fit all your needs, except for the tremenduous battery life of the 6310i. But once you cross into high-res colour display territory you can pretty much forget the marathon performances associated with tiny b/w screens. Having said that, an extra battery for the 6230i takes up next to no space.
