6100 how to activate the net monitor?

Can anybody please help me????
From the threads I have read on the Internet it seems that all I have to do is to
1 press the Menu button
2 scroll in the main menu group to field test display item (NETWORK MONITOR)
3 press the select button
4 enter the index number of the to be activated

My problem is that at item 2 I cannot find network monitor.
What am I not doing correctly?

in order to have this netmonitor menu you have to activate it first.

right now, the information about how to activate it in these models (dct4, new models, like 6100), is unknown to the public.

there are a few sites selling netmonitor-activated phones. not for free of course.

As we say in English, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now I understand.
I will be going to Bangkok at the week end and I will talk to the Nokia Service centre there and see if they can set it up for me.
