Greetings,
I am looking for a way to unlock theses BELL Mobility PCS phones models (SPH-A660/A680) AMPS/CDMA in order to upload sounds/images/screen savers.
I recently heard that i need to find out the SPC or MSL code to be able to perform this without having to pay ridiculous 1X/WAP fees!
The interface over theses phones seems to be an USB based one!
Questions :
========
1) Where i could find a USB compatible cable for theses models ?
- I prefer USB instead of serial if it's possible. (it's native to the phone)
- Is there any DIY schematics/pinouts available for theses models ?
2) Which software could be used via the USB port that will dump the firmware/eeprom memory content from theses phones ?
3) How i enter the debug mode / test mode over theses phones ?
4) Is there any test / service manual available ?
5) Which chipset platform theses phones are using ? Qualcomm ?
6) How i could retrieve the SPC/MSL code ? (Since i dont have it..)
(Could a brute for over the MSL trigger something or lockdown the phone ?
What I have tried with no luck so far for the MSL :
-The last 6 digits of the ESN, 000000, 123456
7) Is bitpim / unicdma / unisoft pst compatible, etc. with theses phones ?
8) Which code i need to know in order to use theses softwares ? (SPC/MSL/ etc..)
9) Could theses serial com port based softwares work via a USB port/cable ?
10) Where i could get/download the Samsung ESN & SPC Tool v1.0

N.B : I dont want to mod/clone the ESN of the phone (it's a legit sub phone and i do not wish to switch to a different provider), but rather just upload some new sounds/pics or new firmwares for fixing bugs or adding new features.
