I have bought a 7250 handset that I believe was originally on orange. I have used the calculator to unlock it and have entered the code 7 - it seemed to have worked - it said "unlocked" and accepted my vodafone sim card (which it didn't prior to the unlock) but now prompts for "enter security code".
what does this mean? Grateful for any help.
I have had 3 attempts at random guesses (1111, 3333) and then remembered the default of 12345 but 2 goes at this haven't worked. any ideas?

Thanks to both of you for replying the zeros didnt work.
when you say a shop - a standard retailer like carphone warehouse?
how much might it cost - do they need proof of ownership (I bought it from e bay)?

if you are in the uk any unlocking shop should be able to do it for you,or there is a reset clip that you can buy for about £10 if you search on google
